At Godley Stud we also run an 'own a pony' week in the school holidays designed to teach children how to care for a pony.
This course is for children aged 8yrs and over. Newcomers, beginners and experienced are all catered for.

During the week they learn how to groom, clean tack, muck out and much more.

As well as games and quizzes the children also get to ride for 1 hour a day.
At the end of the week all the children receive a rosette and certificate and the winner gets a trophy.

Ideal for kids to come and meet new friends and build their confidence up around horses.

There is also the opportunity to take Tests set out by the Association of British Riding Schools.

The course runs Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm and the children are fully supervised at all times.
This offers great value at only £65 for the week or £25.00 for a day course.

Tiny Tots

We also offer a shorter course for the younger ones (5yrs - 7yrs)

The course includes 1 hour with the ponies and 1 hours riding too.

Courses run Wednesdays and Thursdays 1pm - 3pm

£20 for one day or £35 for both days

Please note both courses do get booked up very quickly so book early to avoid disappointment
